Joseph Kauffman Obituary

Joseph B. Kauffman March 24, 1929 – May 22, 2025 Joseph B. Kauffman, 96, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025. Born on March 24, 1929, in Gap, Pennsylvania, Joseph built a life grounded in faith, service, and craftsmanship. Joseph was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1954. He was a devoted member and deacon at Palmcroft Baptist Church. Joseph was a gifted carpenter and respected contractor. He was instrumental in building Packard Baseball Stadium at Arizona State University and Scottsdale Baseball Stadium. He also constructed many churches throughout the Phoenix area. He had a passion for Harley-Davidsons, model trains, woodworking, and traveling. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Coela; his children, Karl and Karlys, and their spouses; and his two grandsons, Ethan and Parker. He is also survived by his brothers Milo, Louis, and Vernon, along with their spouses. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ. A graveside service with military honors will follow on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ. So sorry, Coe, to hear of Joes' passing up to Glory. But we know that we will see him again. So many memories we have. So one by one we go to see our Lord and Savior. Praying for you.
