Libby Martin Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Libby Martin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on August 17, 2025, at the age of 71 after a long illness. Born on September 10, 1953, Libby was a beacon of love and kindness to everyone who knew her. She shared 27 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, whose love for her was evident in everything he did. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home, filled with laughter and cherished memories. Libby was a proud mother to her son, Paul Kastens, and a doting grandmother to her two granddaughters, Sydney and Taylor Kastens. Her granddaughters were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom and a sense of adventure. In addition to her immediate family, Libby is survived by her brother and two sisters, who will remember her as a loving sister and confidante. She had a special bond with each of them, and her absence will be deeply felt. Libby was known for her creativity, infectious laughter, and her love for animals. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and valued. Her kindness extended beyond her family; she was a friend to many and a source of comfort for those in need. A celebration of Libby's life will be held on August 21,2025 at 11:00am, at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the countless ways she touched their lives. Libby Martin will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. We take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and watching over us from above.
