Minh Nguyen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Minh Nguyen, who left this world far too soon on May 1, 2025. Minh was 53 years old and lived a life filled with quiet strength, deep loyalty, and unwavering love for his family. Born in Vietnam to Vietnamese immigrant parents, Minh embodied resilience from an early age. He was a protector, a provider, and a guiding presence to all who knew him, especially to his younger siblings, who looked up to him as both a role model and best friend. Minh had a passion for 80's music, movies, good food and travel, but above all, he found joy in simple moments and time spent with his daughter, Jocelyn. His kindness left an impact, often in ways he never claimed credit for. Minh is preceded in death by his mother, Mai Nguyen. He is survived by his daughter, Jocelyn Nguyen; stepdaughter, Nadia Phaneuf; father, Thap Nguyen; sister, Quynh Reeder (Nam); brothers, Freddy Nguyen (Stephanie) and Jeffrey Nguyen; nieces, Rilynn and Rachel Nguyen; and countless friends whose lives were touched by his presence. Minh's absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his love and legacy will live on in all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on May 24th at 5pm at Hansen's Desert Hills Mortuary. Reception will follow from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Minh by showing compassion to someone in need or simply spending a little extra time with the people you love. Minh, your memory is a blessing.
