Patsy Burchfield "Pat" Hanson

Patsy (Pat) Burchfield Hanson was born October 16, 1953 in Alabama. She passed away at the age of 71 on February 6, 2025 in Arizona where she had lived over 20 years.
Pat had a special love for animals, namely parakeets, horses, and dogs, and she enjoyed reading every chance she got. She played the flute while attending Hueytown High School, often sitting first chair. Her love for cooking provided special dishes requested often. Pat started and incorporated her own business in 1996 called SafEyes Plus Corporation, after being in the optical field several years. One of her favorite topics was the fun she had growing up playing in her neighborhood and with cousins during family gatherings. She was loved and will be missed by many!
Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Richard L Hanson, parents, Rev. Edward W. & Ruby Burchfield Sr., and brother, Edward (Eddie) W. Burchfield, Jr.
Pat is survived by her Son, Michael (Dina) Wheeler and Daughter, Dian Cope (Chris); Granddaughters, Staley, Jessica, and Kimber; Grandsons, Logan and Collin; and Sisters, Lisa (Mike) Frye, Traci (Gary) Smart, and Esther (Bruce) Moore.
Although there will not be a funeral service, we invite you to please privately celebrate Pat's memory in your own ways. She will be with us all in spirit.
