Randell Dean "Randy" Lindgren

Randall Dean Lindgren, age 79, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away on September 24, 2025. Randy was born July 31st, 1946, in Elgin, Illinois. He spent his childhood in Elgin and Arlington Heights, Illinois, with his elder brother Lonas. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Bernice, and his brother Lonas. He received his education in the Arlington Heights school system. He graduated from the University of Denver, earning both a BA and a BS from the Daniels College of Business with a major in marketing. Randy excelled in sales, as demonstrated by the various career opportunities he held in his life. He worked as an office manager for Dover Elevator in various locations, including Buffalo, NY, Indianapolis, IN, and Cleveland, OH. Indiana gained a faithful Indianapolis 500 fan as a result of his relocation to the area for employment. He continued to uphold that tradition for 30 years. He then became an entrepreneur, purchasing a silk-screen business in Phoenix. Following that, Randy expanded his sales experience into the information technology field. He held the position of account executive for Insight Enterprises and subsequently retired from iT1 Source as a senior account manager. Randy was also an active participant in the National Association, Toastmasters Club. Randy is survived by his cousins, Robert Lindgren and his wife, Lynn, of Avondale, and Lorraine Lindgren of Clinton, NY. Additionally, he is survived by Ezequiel Magana, a dear friend who provided compassion and friendship, and felt that Randy was a father figure to him; Randy treated him like a son. Also survived by second cousins Stacey Lindgren-Ramirez of Mesa, AZ; Kayla Bobbitt & husband Kolya of Boston, MA, Gayle Lindgren and husband Ronald Hall, of Avondale, and Heather Klish and Eliza Williamson, of Framingham, MA., and Daniel Anderson of Phoenix. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel, 13738 W. Camino Del Sol, Sun City West, AZ.
