Elaine Robinson Obituary
Elaine was born September 13, 1935 in Maine Prairie Township to Tobias and Anna (Gross) Libbesmeier. She graduated from Kimball High School in 1953, and worked at Marquette Bank in Minneapolis. She married high school classmate Roger Robinson on June 25, 1955 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pearl Lake. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital, Mach & Sartor Clinic, Honeywell, and retired from MultiCare Associates after 14 years.
She was a long-time member of Church of St. Timothy in Blaine, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, active in the Women's Council, and STARS senior group. She and Roger loved spending time at their trailer in Pathfinder Village near Hinckley, and after retiring, taking winter trips to Las Vegas. She loved playing bingo and penny slots. She was a devoted wife, mother, and a selfless caregiver to Roger as his health declined. She lit up a room with her bright smile, sense of humor, and was often called the 'life of the party.' She and Roger had a wide circle of friends, co workers, and neighbors.
Survived by children Diana (Larry) Maki and David Robinson; grandson Nicholas (Reiley) Maki and great-granddaughter Makenzie; brother Herb (Stella) Libbesmeier; sister Delores (Tom) Betzer; in-laws Jeannette Libbesmeier, Dorothy Libbesmeier, Wally (Judy) Robinson, Colin (Carol) Robinson, Betty (Pete Axford) Hendrickson, Marge Robinson, Janet Robinson, Alice Robinson; dear friend Jeannine Schlottman; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by husband Roger Robinson (1/25/13); parents Anna and Tobias; siblings Lorraine (Roman) Buermann, Mary Lou (Ralph) Schmitt, Don Libbesmeier, Dick Libbesmeier, Bob Libbesmeier; in- laws Joyce and Waldo Robinson, Harlow Robinson.
Visitation: Sunday, July 27, 2025, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel, 1385 107th Avenue NE, Blaine, MN 55434. Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, July 28, 2025, 11:00am at Church of St. Timothy, 707 89th Avenue NE, Blaine, MN 55434 with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids at 2:30pm.
