Alvaro Saldana Obituary
Alvaro (Al) Leyva Saldana, a Vietnam Veteran, born on February 26,1945 was escorted by his personal angel on May 4, 2022, and is now home. Al was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Saldana; and four children, Michelle Fay married to Steven Fay, Charles Saldana, Yvonne Navarrette married to Ronnie Navarrette, and John Saldana married to Lupita Saldana. Along with three sisters, Rosie Garcia married to Sonny Garcia, Mary Ann Saldana, MaryLou Martinez; two brothers, Armando Saldana and Felipe Saldana Jr.; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nephews, nieces and friends. Al was proceeded by his parents, Felipe and Bisenta Saldana; brothers, Manuel Saldana, Gilbert Saldana (Vietnam Veteran); sister, Esmeralda Saldana; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Michelle Pohl. Al was a loving family man, devout Christian and a generous person. He will forever be missed and in our hearts and memories. Friends may visit Friday, May 13, 2022, 1:30 p.m. â€" 3:30 p.m. at FRENCH â€" Lomas. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH â€" Lomas. Interment will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022, 9:45
