Angel Santana Martinez, 22, of Roswell, NM died November 6, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM.
Santana will be remembered by his beautiful smile and his heart of gold.
He is survived by his son, Luciano Hernandez-Nieto; his parents, Jose and Amanda Hernandez and Cecilia Martinez; his sisters D'Angela and Christina Martinez; brothers Joseph Garcia (Evangelina) and James Garcia-Hernandez; grandparents, Pedro and Socorro Hernandez, and Christina Martinez; tias and tios, Pedro and Susan Hernandez-Tull, Noemi and Lalo Gutierrez-Hernandez, Marissa Hernandez, Familia Chaparro, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Angel's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Parish, located at 2401 Broadway Blvd SE. Burial will follow Services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
Santana, you will forever be in our hearts, from both the Hernandez and Martinez families, we love you! Dance with the angels baby boy. "Flying high in paradise"~ Santana

Angel, When I first started teaching it was you who would make me proud, crazy, but most of all hopeful. Even when we would butt heads I could see the kindness in your heart. Plus, with that smile you knew I couldn't be mad at you for long, and you were right. I'm sorry that you are no longer with us and for the pain your family and community is going through. It goes without saying that you will be missed.
