Anna Mulkey Obituary
Anna Mulkey passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, at her home with her family. She was 100 years old.
Originally from New Haven, CT she had made NM her home for the last 50 years. Anna met her husband Reed while they were both in college, she at Mt. Holyoke and he at the Naval Academy. They had 5 children and traveled the world during Reed's Air Force career.
After Reed retired in 1975, they settled in ABQ where she volunteered at the zoo, was a member of the New Mexico Zoological Society, and was active in multiple garden clubs. The couple continued to travel and eventually visited all 7 continents, Antarctica being the last. They wanted to see the penguins.
Anna and Reed will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The date is still not determined. See French's website for additional details.
