For some unknown reason, I just thought of Beth who was a mentor to me way back in the '90s when she was still at U.S. West. I Googled her to find out what she is doing now, and was stunned to learn that she is no longer with us. Such a huge loss. As others have shared, she was an amazing, beautiful, class act, and so supportive to others who followed in her footsteps... a heartfelt woman filled with a generous spirit and a zest for life. I remember her fondly all these years later. My condolences to her family. May you carry her love and kindness inside you every day.

Dear Steve, Adam, Grant and family,
I just learned of Beth's passing by calling Steve to check in on Friday, May 1. Needless to say I am stunned and still reeling with the news. I send you all my deepest condolences. As you know I was a DG with her at CU and consider one of the great presences of my long years of friendships. We weren't in touch often, but when we did connect, it was always spot on.
I am blessed to have known her and grieve that she is no longer walking this earth.
Love,
Janie Rommel-Eichorn

Steve:
What a shock to read about Beth's passing.Friends in ABQ called us last week about Beth (Diane & I moved to Macon, Ga. 5+ years ago to be with family. We remember when Beth took our daughter Chris to lunch a couple of times in Denver, and mentored her on how she was doing (she was working for Nike at that time). Wonderful wonderful woman, and one we'll never forget.
Best to you and family.

Sally and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Beth's passing. We all lost a dear friend and we all will miss her. In so many ways, Beth was the BEST- a wonderful loving wife and mother, a strong leader, a highly respected business executive and a caring friend. She also was beautiful, always the best dressed, found time to be community leader, and was so proud of her two sons.
Steve, our heart goes out to you, Grant and Adam and their families.

As a teenager living next door to Steve and Beth in Four Hills many years ago, I always thought Beth glamorous, beautiful, sophisticated and most of all, friendly and genuinely interested in what was going on in my life.
I baby sat for Adam and Grant for several years before heading off to college and a life of my own, but would frequently see Steve or Beth on my trips back to NM. I last saw Beth when we were both flying in to the Sunport; me to visit family and she from one of her many business trips. Then, as always, she made me feel that what I had been doing was interesting and important to her.
My deepest sympathies to your family for your devastating loss. May you find comfort in your many wonderful memories of a remarkable person.
