Celia Garcia Obituary
Celia Sally Garcia was born July 5, 1929 in Las Vegas, NM. She went to Heaven June 5, 2018 after a six month battle with stomach cancer. She is preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Mia Passantino.
She was cared for and survived by her daughter, Loretta Sunderland and husband George of ABQ; her daughter; Lorena Rodriguez of Laramie, WY; her four grandchildren; Natalie Passantino and husband Joey of ABQ; Phillip Sunderland, and wife Ivy of ABQ; Frank Rodriguez and wife Amanda of Laramie WY; and Stephanie Martinez and husband Tyson of Pocatello ID.
She had six great-grandchildren that she spoiled rotten Mason S., Reese M., Travis P., Evelyn S., Kenzie M. and soon to arrive Chance P. Sally cherished the Coca Family, Pete, Theresa and their seven children who were her family during her growing up years before moving to Albuquerque at 16. She waitressed with her best friend Theresa Leyba for 33 years at Baca's Mexican restaurant. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and her sweet influence will be felt always. She adored her family as they did her and she will be greatly missed.
Sally's memorial service will be held at Daniel's Funeral Home on Carlisle on Friday June 22, 2018 at
2 p.m.

Dear Family my sympathies for the loss of a very sweet woman , who was my Auntie , she took care of me when I was very small and I have always remembered her kindness and sweetness to me , she was in my thoughts a lot as I grew up , am now 70 so she has been in my heart along time .Love you Aunt Sally Rest in peace .
