Celine Casados Duran



Celine Casados Duran, 94, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on May 4, 2018. She entered this world on December 9, 1923 in Santa Fe, NM, born to Paul Casados and Lasha Roibal Casados. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sisters; Dolores and Lillian, and brother; Edward. She is survived by her husband, Joseph L.; daughter; sons; sister; granddaughters; daughter- in- laws; and son- in- law.

Before becoming a wife and mother in the early 1960's, she worked at the Santa Fe National Bank and during World War II served in the US Navy as a WAVE stationed in San Diego, California. After raising a family she worked and retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Celine was an avid reader, a master organizer, and enjoyed writing short stories about her life experiences. She was immediately liked by everyone who met her. Her gratitude about life taught us all valuable lessons on how to live. She was ever-loving and respectful to her husband of 58years.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, 7:00p.m at FRENCH â€" Wyoming.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 10:00a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701Wyoming NE. Interment will be Monday May 14, 2018, 12:45p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Navy honors.
