Christian Reno Obituary

Christian Dane Reno

Christian Dane Reno was born at home in Los Lunas, New Mexico on a cold winter day on November 28th, 1992. This would only be the beginning to the million amazing stories of our beloved Chris. His parents Christopher Reno and Lois Fritz-Reno delivered him personally and called an ambulance to come assist their new little warrior. With the winter conditions extreme on this night, it took time for an ambulance to be able to get to the correct temperature to safely carry a newborn miles to be evaluated at a hospital in Albuquerque. This gave these amazing parents time to bask in awe of their new baby boy. From then on, it was obvious that Christian would lead a life full of adventure and love.

Christian was one of the middle children of six siblings. A younger brother to Daniel, Nicole, and Tara and a protective older brother to twins Max and Jasmine. With his birthday landing on Thanksgiving every seven years, it was naturally built into him to have a deep connection to family. But, impactful relationships didn't stop with family. Christian never met a stranger in his life. He could develop friendships through the most light-hearted conversations with everyone around him. Whether you were a classmate, acquaintance, of even someone that was greeting him through a drive through. He had the ability to make instant genuine connections by simply treating others with warmth, laughter and a full ear to ear smile on his face.

Christians youth and adolescent years were full of sports, adventures, and friendships. As he grew older he became an amazing landscaper. He met his wife Desiree in a tale of love as old as time, inside of an ice cream shop. Over the course of a decade they carried on to marry and have three incredible children Violet Rae, Christian Chase, and Daisy Mae. Our beloved Christian loved nothing more than being a father. Welcoming his first daughter in 2020, his son in 2022, and his youngest daughter in 2025 he beamed with pride to watch the little miracles he created cling to him as their new daddy would always be their hero. He would pride himself on sharing every life experience with his babies and took them everywhere to see the beauty of the world in each moment. All three followed in every footstep he walked. His positivity and life lessons are something these lovely children will be able to carry with them forever.

On October 17th, 2025 Christian was devestatingly involved in a traffic accident that unfortunately took his life at the young age of 32. He is survived by his parents, four siblings, wife, and children. And will be joining in heaven his beautiful sister Tara, grandparents, William and Deleta Reno, and many others that will be happy to embrace him again. Through this tragic loss there is also so much beauty in reflecting on the way Christian led life with his heart on his sleeve. He lived every day to its fullest potential and didn't leave words of love left unspoken. That'll be something Christian's loved ones will be able to take away from him forever.

A celebration of life will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Albuquerque on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at 11:00am. All of those who knew and loved Christian Reno are invited to attend and share many warm memories of this outstanding man.

Thank you all who had an impact on Christian's fulfilling life and turned him into the incredible son, brother, father, husband, and friend we all were blessed to to have.
