Consuelo Chavez Obituary
Consuelo S. Chavez "Connie"- Entered into the gates of heaven on Friday, March 20, 2015. Connie was born in Santa Fe, NM on June 9, 1927. During her time in this life, married in 1954 to Richard S. Chavez for 48 years until his departure into heaven in 2002. Connie lived a full active life and worked in retail for over 40 years. She was also a graduate of Loretto Academy in 1947. She loved life, her family, cooking she had such a great spirit and strong faith and positive attitude even when things came her way. Connie loved animals especially her Maggie.
Connie is survived by her daughter Geri Maron, husband Paul; son Robert Chavez; grandchildren, Damian Maron, wife Amy, Nichol Gonzales, husband, Francisco and Riche G. Chavez; great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Frankie and Izzy. Connie is also survived by her brother Herman Sandoval, wife Ceci; sisters Elena O'Connell, Mary Ann Murphy and Terry Ortiz, husband Jerry.
Connie was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. Chavez, mother and father Frances and Willie Sandoval, brother Cippy, Benny and Joe Shirley and her beloved son Richard T. Chavez. Connie will be greatly missed by so many family members and friends.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 27, 2015 at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Reception will follow the Mass from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Wyoming Reception Room. Inurnment will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.

Geri so sorry to hear about your mom.My mom Stella @Connie worked together at WalMart when it first opened in Albuquerque (many years ago) sad to hear of her passing was a great lady my mom talked highly of her.
