Daniel Patrick Archibeque
Patrick's heart was more pure than gold and more precious than the finest gem. Of the many things we miss so much was his smile; a smile that would light up his face and bring a sparkle to his eyes; a beautiful sight to behold. His accidental death 46 years ago left us with broken hearts; but also the sweetest memories that remain within us to this day. He lived a good and full life, which brought great joy and immeasurable pride to his family and friends.
His many interests included sketching, playing guitar, listening to all genres of music, scuba diving, skydiving, and, most of all, his son and daughter. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. While in route to Vietnam, an accident required a change in his orders so that he completed his tour of duty in Hawaii instead. Upon completion of his military service he attended UNM and was looking forward to a career as a Pharmacist. He was also looking forward to assisting with sports announcing for UNM.
His amazing children and grandchildren; Duane, Chantell, Salem and Ryan would "now" be his world.
Patrick was a dearly loved son, father, grandfather, brother, brother in law, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend and USMC Veteran. We will rejoice when we are with him again in Heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
