On Friday, May 13, 2022, Daniel "Danny" Harold Ortiz, our loving family member, passed away suddenly at the young age of 46 in a tragic motorcycle accident.

Danny was born to Filiberto Harold Ortiz Sr. and Gina Valerio on January 2nd, 1976 and was lovingly raised by his parents Filiberto and Albinita Ortiz. He grew up farming and ranching in the high llanos near Peñasco in Northern New Mexico where his work ethic and respectful nature took shape.

Danny was a passionate and accomplished tradesman and business owner with many skills which he used to complete many projects including airports, schools, and shopping malls. He also loved to help his family, friends and neighbors using his skills to contribute, in any way possible, to their lives. An avid skier at a young age Danny was known for his flying acrobatic tricks on the slopes of Sipapu. Danny had a special relationship with his grandmother Adelaida Ortiz and often referred to her as mom. Danny's his quick wit, infectious personality, and his giving nature all contributed to his incredible leadership, combined with Danny's kind and compassionate spirit. They drew people to take notice of him and inspired them to follow in the various activities of his life. He was an incredibly protective family member and despite his life's many hardships and struggles, Danny dedicated his life to Christ and followed the teachings of the bible.

Daniel Harold Ortiz was preceded in death by his paternal Grandfather Alberto Ignacio Ortiz, his maternal grandparents Chris and Carmen Valerio, his grandmother Corina Gonzales who loved him dearly, and his cousins Eden Romero, Adam Longoria, Michael Ortiz, and Jerry Muniz. He is survived by; his wife, Michelle Ortiz; father, Filiberto Harold Ortiz Sr; mother, Gina Armijo and husband Joseph; mother, Albinita Muniz-Gonzales and partner James; His sons Isaac and wife Diana, Aaron and wife Ashley, and Cruz and Isaiah; Daughter Danae; step children Brandon, Jordan, and Ariana; brothers, Ruben, Filiberto Jr, Joseluis and partner Luzero, and Anjel and Fiancé Savannah; his sisters Alberta and husband Dean, Savannah Rose and Maria Antonia; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-children and many, many friends and admirers.

A service will be held at 10am on June 4th at the Victory Outreach Church in Albuquerque at 435 Jefferson St. SE, ABQ, NM 87108. Visitors are encouraged to bring your fondest memories of Danny to share with family and friends. The family of Daniel Harold Ortiz wants to express gratitude for the many condolences given in the time of tragic loss. Danny will never be forgotten and will live forever in our hearts and memories, till we meet again, up in heaven. Daniel Harold Ortiz presente!!!
