Dometrique Shepherd Obituary
Dometrique Donte Shepherd was born on June 26, 1978 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to John and Gwen Shepherd. Dometrique attended Hubert Humphrey Elementary School, Eisenhower Middle School, and La Cueva High School where he excelled at football. He worked primarily in the automotive business in sales and finance. Dometrique was known to be the life of any social gathering. Loyal, loving, charismatic and kind were words often used to describe "Donte", "Te" or Meech as he was affectionately called. His family and many friends remember him as someone who touched your soul.
Dometrique departed this life on October 13,2015 at the age of 37. Leaving to carry on his exceptional vibrance his daughter, Jade Ratliff; mother, Gwen Shepherd; father, John Shepherd; his nephew Miles Shepherd; brother Eddie Shepherd; and a myraid of friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015, visitation 11:00am and memorial service to follow at 12:00pm at New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1901 Pennsylvania NE, Bishop David C. Cooper.

Wow...I was very sad to hear this about Dante .have not seen Dante for a number of years .he was a caring person every time I ran in to him he was a nice as he could be .and to Mr .and Mrs..shepperd your son was a good guy . he always had so much respect for others around him .jade keep all the good thoughts of your dad with you .he is always going to be watching over you . ..i always had a lot of respect for dante ...you all take care..
