Donna Allison Obituary
Donna Dora Allison, age 80 went to be with the lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, surrounded by her family. She is survived by daughter, Theresa Lynne Allison; sons Anthony, and Thomas (Alison); grandson, Bradley Graham; brother, James Lunardi of Boston, MA.; cousin, Charlotte Morrison of Pittsburg, PA.; god-grandson, Aaron Boyer and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna lived life with a grace and beauty all her own. She was the matriarch of the family for the past 34 years. She had an infectious laugh that filled up a room, she was an avid hiker, traveler, bridge player, and loved all kinds of dance. She was dedicated to her family and friends.
Married to her grade school sweetheart John Glenn Allison for 30 years, Donna and John were members of the first graduation class of Assumption High School in 1959, in Davenport Iowa.
She was a member of the Solo Club for over 30 years and was the Past President.
Should friends desire, donations may be made in Donna's name to: Solo Club Incorporated, 2500 Candelaria, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at Shrine of St Bernadette Catholic Church, 11509 Indian School Road NE. Immediately following Mass, a Celebration of Life will be held at Solo Club Incorporated, 2500 Candelaria, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.

What fun we had with Donna in The Sophisticated Ladies dance group! It was a special blessing to have those years dancing with Donna! She was the greatest!! Beautiful memories!!

I am so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I taught her hula when she was a member of the Sophisticated Ladies Dance Troupe. She was a dedicated dancer and a lovely person. Donna...Me Ke Aloha Pumehana.

Donna was a dear coworker and friend, as well. I will miss her very much.
Always had lunch with her when came to town from out of state.
She loved life and always had a smile.

I thanks God and will cherish the memories I have as a child and an adult of my aunt Donna. The short times we had over the years were not enough. Our (Dawn and I) thoughts and prayers are with all the extended family. God bless all of them during this difficult time and God bless Aunt Donna and Uncle John. Although you will be missed you will never be forgotten.
