Elisabeth "Liz" Lenore Dunn

Elisabeth "Liz" Lenore Dunn, age 45, passed away September 30, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on December 24, 1975 to James Dunn and Mary (Trujillo) Manke.

She is survived by her husband of 6 years, Ben Garland of Albuquerque, NM; her father, Jim Dunn and wife, Lucy Dunn of Las Cruces, NM; her mother, Mary Manke and husband, Michael Manke of Monument, CO; her daughters, Allana Borgersen and Sistine Dunn; her grandsons, Jacob Dunn and Joshua Dunn; her brothers, James Dunn and Patrick Dunn; her sisters, Kara Dunn and Chastity Dally; and many other family and friends.

Elisabeth received a BS in Chemistry, with honors, from New Mexico Tech; received her Associates in Science from CNM in 2020 for Pre-Health as a Medical Laboratory Technician desiring to work as an aerospace medical laboratory assistant for SpaceX. She had a lifelong passion for learning.

Her interests included: gardening, astronomy, enjoyed Freddie Mercury music as well as the Beatles, and space exploration; was an admirer of Elon Musk and his mission to colonize Mars. Her favorite quote is from Elon Musk, "Don't doubt your


Elisabeth was a loving and compassionate person, and most of all, she loved her daughters. She will be deeply missed.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 at 5:00 PM, Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.

I can only remember you as a small girl, but if you were anything like your mom Rosie I can say you were a great mom, friend, person. Rest in peace. My condolences to the family.
