Eric Levinson Obituary
Eric Levinson of Albuquerque died unexpectedly, but peacefully, on December 26, 2016.
"Rick" was born in Buffalo, NY, to Leo and Sis (Shapiro) Levinson and grew up in New City, NY. In the 70s Eric moved to Corrales and quickly embraced the NM lifestyle.
Eric will be sorely missed by an extended family who survives him, including Donna Whitcomb and her daughters, Kathy and Heather Gooch of Albuquerque; son Nicholas Starett of Kaneohe, HI; seven grandchildren; siblings Rock, Jay, Sarah McGillick, and Jessica Feminella; stepmother Kay; and a number of nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A private and informal rememberance of Eric's life for family and friend will be held January 6, 2017.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to American Heart Association in Eric's honor.

Lived with and loved him in Corrales, NM,
way back in the early 1980's. We lived on the Foula Apple farm, inthe old [farm] house. Our 5 dogs were happy there, in the orchards. His mohter, 'Sis' was a good friend, who attended my wedding a few years later, in Flagstaff, az.
I'm glad to hear that Eric went peacefully. He was a kind, and funny man.

Eric was definitely an individual and a caring person. I worked with him in the 90's after he changed professions.
I hope those that survive him are at peace or find peace soon. This world was a bit of a better place with him here.

I am so saddened to hear of Eric's passing. I had the pleasure of being his partner at Albuquerque Ambulance for 2 years.He was a kind and gentle man and an amazing firefighter and paramedic. God Bless him.

I am so saddened and shocked to hear of Eric's passing. It doesn't seem fair. He was a great person to work with. He was always tough but he was one of the smartest men I have ever known. May he rest in peace. Prayers and my condolences to his family and friends.

Eric was like a big brother to me when we served in the Corrales FD together so many years ago.
