Eugene Adler Obituary

Eugene C. Adler

Eugene C. Adler passed away on January 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Sylvia (Sybil) Adler.

Gene was an avid motorcycle and car enthusiast from an early age. He was a member of a hot rod club as a young man, and his interest in muscle cars and hot rods never waned. In retirement, he enjoyed taking his customized Mustang to car shows where he won a number of awards over the years.

He was a generous man who was always willing to lend a hand or offer advice. He did what he could to help those in need and devoted a large portion of his life working in the field of drug abuse rehabilitation in various roles and positions for different programs around the country. A staunch supporter of equal rights, he marched for civil rights in Selma. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

My heart breaks for Gene´s wife and children. My husband and I always looked forward to our monthly dinners with Gene and Maria, we would try new restaurants and spend hours talking about life and current events. I will always remember Gene as a kind and gentle soul filled with the love for life.
