Frances Miller, 84, passed away in Georgetown, TX, on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Frances will lovingly be remembered by her sons, Scott (Lynne) and Michael (Patricia), grandchildren: Jessica (Andrew) Holderby, Elizabeth (Brett) Morris, and Tyler Miller, great grandchildren: Annalyse, Samantha and Bailey Holderby and her sister Kathryn (Robert) Bauer and nephew Max Bauer. Frances was predeceased by her husband Alan K. Miller.
Frances was born in Pawhuska, OK on August 9, 1936. She spent her early years in Carlsbad, NM with her family. In 1954, she attended Draughn's Business College in Lubbock, TX, married her late husband, Alan, in Carlsbad, NM and moved to Albuquerque, NM to begin their life together. After working for Equitable Life Assurance and Funds Management, Inc., she obtained her Associates Degree in Business from CNM. While raising her two sons, Scott and Michael, she worked in several temporary positions and learned new techniques in each of them. Frances was also a dedicated volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital and at Animal Humane Society for many years. Frances was well known by all who knew and loved her, for her exceptional baking/cooking skills. She enjoyed traveling, was outgoing, and enjoyed being with, and socializing with family and friends.
Graveside Services and Interment will be held for Frances on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charitable organization of your choice.
