Gary Tomada Obituary
Gary Tomada, 66, of Rio Rancho, NM, returned home to be with our Lord on April 25, 2015. Gary was an avid horseman. He graduated from Gallup High in 1967 and served in the US Navy from 1969-1973. He was an entrepreneur, small business owner, and real estate developer. Gary served eight years as Director of Alcohol and Gaming Division for the State of New Mexico. He was a true son on New Mexico with a vast knowledge of its people and land. Gary is respected, loved, and will be missed by many.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Beatrice Tomada.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marge; son Brian and his wife Yvette; grandchildren Tea, Sophia and Gianna; son Mark and his wife Georgia; grandchildren Ryder and Stryker; brother Sam; and his sisters Dorothy Lindsay and Ida Burke.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Chapel. A Rosary will follow at 7:00pm, at the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Church of the Incarnation. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park at 4310 Sara Rd. SE.
