Gene Koskey Obituary

Dr. B. Eugene (Gene) Koskey, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was called home to be with the Lord as he died peacefully at 90 years old, in the presence of God and his wife of twenty years, Jeanette Koskey. After almost three years of valiantly fighting pulmonary fibrosis, his battle is over. He was born in Bessemer, Michigan to Bernard and Edith Koskey. He achieved a Doctorate in Education at Indiana University. He was an educator, composer, musician, technical writer, real estate broker, locksmith, businessman, upholsterer, tax preparer, author, and worked in television and radio. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; his daughter Allyson Underwood, her husband Brian, and their daughters Amber and Bryanna of Genoa, NV; his daughter Brenda (Bo) Freeman, her husband Jeff, and their son Braydan of Phillips Ranch, CA; and his son, Christopher Koskey, his wife Moira, and their sons Brendan and Graham of Portland, OR. Additional survivors include his stepdaughters Cynthia Dennis and Christina Moore, and their husbands, children, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Koskey. A memorial service is planned for June 19, 2021, at 10:00 am at Church Alive, 4601 Avocet Road NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114. All are welcome to attend.
