Helen W. Williams, age 73 got her wings and went home to be with the Lord on February 5th, 2026, in the comfort of her own home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born in Los Lunas, New Mexico June 8th, 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Williams, Jr., mother, Viola Otero and father, Joe Clifton. She is survived by her children, Charles Williams III, Krista Thompson; husband, Kevin Thompson; grandchild, Savannah Rose Miller-Williams and many family and friends.

Helen was an exemplary mom and human being. She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit and an unending generosity that could be seen and felt with her family and friends.

In early years she was part of the Albuquerque soccer community in Taylor Ranch, coaching and referring. She enjoyed shopping adventures, especially with her granddaughter. Helen loved to travel from Cruise ships to road trips, she always created memories and experiences that will forever be cherished.

Helen served our community working for the YWCA P.A.N. Food Program until her retirement, when her grandchild was born. Savannah Rose continues to be her joy and guiding light to look after.

Through Helen's healthcare journey, she taught those around her what it looks like to live bravely, love unconditionally and fight to live for the people you love. She will continue to be our guardian angel, the bright light that guides and the spirit that protects us.
