A couple years later I still miss Uncle Izzy. He was always so nice to talk with, he always listened before replying or starting another thought. Many people could learn from that. God bless him for his service to our country in WWII. Part of America's greatest generation. Love ya Tio!

This message is for DOLLY, my favorite babysitter. Your dad and mine Vito Miera were elementary school principals and very good friends in Albuquerque for many years. Your dad was a very happy person. He loved his Mona and Dolly.
He made a beautiful wood cabinet which sits in my mom's Lucille Miera-
Kitchen right now. I'm real sorry that you lost your daddy, Dolly. He was a great person and a true "optimist"
He had the brightest eyes.

Cousin Dolly. So sadden by this news. Prayers to you from California. Wish we could come visit but Dave is not able. Izzy was always the greatest host and most upbeat person to visit. Love to all, Dave & Annie Lewis

There was never a better principal to work for anywhere!
I was blessed to work as one of his teachers for many years in Rio Rancho. No one loved the children more than Izzy. He knew every one of the 1000 students by name and made sure he hugged them regularly. He was so good to all his teachers....truly a remarkable and special man. You will be sorely missed, dear Izzy. God must have a very special place for you!

Izzy was the first principal I had after moving to New Mexico. He was the kindest, most considerate person anyone could have asked for. I was finishing up a second degree and he helped me find a job with APS, which I held for 16 years until I retired. I will always remember his smile and friendly manner. I worked for him for 3 years and loved every minute!

The loss of Izzy leaves a big hole in the community and in the hearts of the Optimists of the NW District. I worked with him on many projects and he was so active and always had a smile for everyone. Chris Edwards

I started playing baseball for coach Juarez when I was 8 years old at Cortez Elementary and continued for the next 6 years. Our Babe Ruth team, sponsored by the Banes Co. took the City of Albuquerque Championship in 1957 coming up through the losers bracket! The games were played at the old Duke Stadium by the Zoo. I was blessed to always have great coaches throughout my life, and Coach Izzy Juarez was the best! He was like a father to me and the other boys. Rest In Peace, Coach.

My sincere condolences for your loss. May you find strength and peace in God's Word during this difficult time. Psalm 29:11
