So sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was a special person and always enjoyed helping do genealogy with her.

Paul, I am so sorry to hear about your mothert and I am so glad we had a chance to established contact once again before your mother's death. Your mom and dad where such a "dynami duo" when I last saw them when they were scouring the countryside doing "our" geneology and seem to be having a great time of it all. I was pleased to spend some time with them when they visited me in Davenport and stayed at the B&B across the street from my home. I didn't want to subject them to my own "cooking". HA We all survived and had a great time. It was through your folks that I had contact with unknown relatives, "Pribyls in Cedar Rapids, IA and "Omaha Rose Beran in Nebraska, and various Prebyls throughout the country. I had many, many relatives that I did not know and Max and Janet established links with the extended family. Even the trip to see Omaha Rose was a delight. We cackled like hens. I certainly will miss your mother. She had a fantastic memory at that time and filled in so many blanks in the limited family history that I knew. Max and Janet will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for letting me know about everything in recent months, I would imagine that there were challenges for both your mom and yourself. We "Pribyls and Prebyls" seem to be fairly tough bunch and, of course, can be quite the characters. HA Please keep in touch. Mark-Edward Prebyl
