Jon Scheihing Obituary
Dr. Jon Mark Scheihing passed away on April 5th, 2021 at the age of 74. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 17th, at Calvary Chapel Light of the World, 155 Bosque Farms Blvd, in Bosque Farms. The service will be livestreamed at www.my-light.org and memorials may be submitted there.
Mark was born on January 25, 1947, in Bismarck, Missouri, to Orville and Ruby Scheihing and had one brother. Mark was class president of Bismarck High School from 1964-65. He played basketball and baseball, being awarded All Conference and an All-State Honorable Mention. He attended Southeast Missouri State University from 1965-69, where he was a proud member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Mark earned his doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic,
where he was class president from 1974-75. Mark moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and practiced Chiropractic care, was a member of the Optimist Club (serving as president in 1985,) and was named "Chiropractor of the Year" by the NMCPA.
Mark had two marriages, a son, a daughter, a stepdaughter, four grandchildren, and many loving dogs. Mark loved playing softball, fishing, and was a talented storyteller.
He and his stories will live on in our hearts.

I send my sympathies and condolences to Mark's family. We had many fun and memorable times during our softball seasons and post-game get togethers, aka beer-drinking time. Mark goes down as one of my "most unforgettable" people. Rest in peace, my friend.
