Joshua Link, 43, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed peacefully into eternity on July 30, 2021 after a hard-fought, five-year battle with colorectal cancer. Josh, who died in the arms of his loving wife Mary, is also survived by his two sons, Ezra and Jude. He is further survived by his father, Bob Link (and stepmother Tammy), of Roswell, NM; his mother Jenise Flowers, of Albuquerque; his sister Charity Martin (and her three children), of Troy Texas; stepsister Megan Lanning (and husband Matthew and three children), of Mansfield, TX; and stepbrothers Shelby Hubbard (and Ciera and two children), of Hobbs, NM; and Corey Hubbard (and wife Cheyenne and child), of Roswell, NM.

Josh graduated from Goddard High School in Roswell and from college at New Mexico Tech in Socorro. He worked for the Modrall law firm in Albuquerque for several years before starting his own technology consulting businesses. His last business, Ambitions Consulting Group, was created with his partner and good friend Lucas Rael and he highly valued the employees/friends who helped him and Lucas make the business a success.

But Josh valued his family above all. His wife and children were the focus and joy of his life and the reason that he fought so hard to live. Josh lived an abundant life both physically and spiritually. He expertly skied and mountain biked with his dad and his friends until a few weeks before his death. His friends were friends for life. He was known for his kindness, loyalty, strong work ethic, and competence. People were drawn to his welcoming and friendly demeanor; he genuinely loved and was interested in people, and it showed. As some have noted, the world will be a meaner place without Josh. And as friends said, "Josh's presence warmed your soul . . . and provided you the nutrients of life" and the love of Christ, and his loss leaves an immeasurable hole in all of our hearts and lives.

In lieu of flowers, those who would like to honor Josh may do so with a donation to BelieveBig.org, a 501(c) organization that provides resources and supports cancer patients through funding clinical trials on mistletoe therapy (a therapy that drastically bettered Josh's quality of life and helped slow his cancer's progression); or to ccalliance.org, which is also a 501(c) organization dedicated to funding screening for colorectal cancer and increasing awareness of the importance of early screening for the disease.

A memorial service will be held later this month, but will be restricted due to Covid.
