My dear and loved friend Kathy,
We met at work as paralegals and hit it off. I was so taken by your beauty and work skills and honest friendliness. You and I became close I remember after I bought you a sundress right away to show off your great figure. We had many lunches and drinks after work. We have kept close over some ten years of treasured friendship and thoughtful, generous gifts.
I will miss you terribly. You were a sunshine in my life.
You said I made you laugh but it was really you who helped me laugh.
Thank you for the golden friendship that would have lasted even more than a lifetime if you were not taken from me.
Farewell and Rest In Peace and Love,
Your loving forever friend,
Rory

Kathy was such a beautiful person, full of life and lots of humor. Kathy and I met when we were Radio Announcers at KQEO/KZZX IN 1982. Kathy had a show called "The Nightflight" on 99FM KZZX. I worked on KQEO for awhile, then moved over to KZZX and worked The Nightflight in 1983, also. Kathy's unforgettable smooth, velvety voice entertained listeners for hours. I recently saw Kathy in 2015 at a Circle K and I said, "Kathy Bergland is that you?" Kathy said "Sherri!... We spoke briefly, then I saw her drive off in her sporty convertible - truly perfect for her petite frame. Later, My boyfriend and I ran into Kathy and her mom at a restaurant and she said he and I made a beautiful couple. Kathy and I said we'd do lunch sometime; but sadly that day never came. I'm fortunate to have known Kathy. She brightened all of our lives with her smile and positiveness.
