So many lives have been touched by this fine young man, all loved him dearly.
Kyle's first job was for APS, running race results up to the press box during track season for APS. Kyle then began to spend more time skateboarding and playing video games with his many friends. Kyle was the Salutatorian of his graduating class at Gilbert Sena Charter School. He had taken some business courses at CNM, then got into the working world. He rose to assistant manager at two previous jobs and was just beginning training for a career in renewable energy.
Upon meeting Sarai, Kyle come into his own as their relationship blossomed. He became quite the cook with Sarai and her grandmother's guidance. This had inspired him to start a garden of his own. He became a world traveler with a trip to Peru in 2021, with Sarai and her family, in celebration of his birthday. Many adventures followed. He and Sarai were building their future together.
Kyle and his sister Rachel's relationship matured as the days of bickering and fighting faded and they began doing more things together. They went on many walks together, up into the foothills or along the crest to the rockhouse. They began playing video games online with mutual friend Nic for hours at a time. Many conversations were had, encouragement shared, laughter and tears. Around that time, Kyle had reconnected with old friends with several chance encounters.
Kyle always saw the brighter side, saw the best in people. He passionately pursued his interests and would share that knowledge with enthusiasm. Kyle was always ready to help family or friend. He was kind, thoughtful, clever, articulate, sweet. Kyle was wise beyond his years and demonstrated that with his words and in his actions.
We have celebrated his life with family and friends. Kyle has been cremated and laid to rest next to his father at Sunset Memorial Park.
Kyle William Martin. Beloved son. Big brother. Nephew. Friend. Sweetboy. Ever loved.
