Lawrence Peterson Obituary
Lawrence Victor "Pete" Peterson was born to Lawrence H and Lucia Peterson on December 26, 1958. He poured all of his love into his family, selflessly giving them a life filled with love, opportunities, and fun. He valued family, faith, and education. He loved listening to music, dreaming up possibilities for improvements, inventing ways to solve complex problems, building fun things with common household items, putzing around his garage, and hunting/camping. He was optimistic, funny, generous, kind, and honest.
He died on November 12, 2025, and will be so missed. He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence H Peterson. He is survived by his wife Susan; his mother Lucia; children Lawrence Thomas (Joslin), Eldon Pete (Krissy), Julie Christine (Adam), Holly Anne (Tony), and Jeffrey Luke; grandchildren Lawrence Daniel, Lylah, Ethan, Gabriella, and Reid; and his sisters and brother Edith Steele (Byron), Ingrid Harvey (Bruce), John Andrew Peterson, Felecia (Gary) Peterson, and Mellisa Peterson.
His services will be held at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Cubero, with a rosary on Thursday night (11/20/25) at 6:30 p.m. and his funeral on Friday (11/21/25) at 10:00 a.m.

Earlier today
Dear ones, I remember a special touching moment with Pete. He was working in Cuba, NM, and it was Sue's birthday on a week day. I was outside when I saw him coming around the corner in his truck. I stopped him to say hi and asked why he was town? He said he drove home to be with Sue and celebrate her birthday. I thought, WOW! He had just put in a full day's work in Cuba, and he drove home to be with his sweet wife, Sue. Very dear, very kind and thoughtful.
Peace of Christ be with the entire Peterson family during this time of extreme sadness. R.I.P. Pete, you will be missed.
