Luella Peterson Obituary
Born the youngest of six children to John and Esther Johannesen of Erwin, South Dakota. At age 93, she was the last of her generation and suffered the loss of her son
David Peterson five years ago.
After business school, she moved to Sioux Falls where she met her husband, Orian. They relocated to Minneapolis and raised their three children. She was widowed at age 42 and in 2004 moved to Albuquerque to enjoy New Mexico winters.
She was a loving Mother. No recipe was needed to bake her exceptional pie crusts. Every Sunday was a glass of wine to enjoy, especially during football season. Reading, nature, music, and animals entertained her.
Luella died at home with her two daughters who loved her dearly and greatly miss her.
She is survived by daughters Debra and Sharon
Peterson, extended family, and friends. Memorials may be sent to a charity of your choice.
