M. Melendez Obituary
7/21/1938 - 1/5/2022
M. Carmen was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and spent her formative years in Santa Fe, New Mexico and was a lifelong resident of New Mexico. She was an avid and talented quilter, she loved to cook and bake and had
enjoyed teaching her recipes to so many. She loved the timely traditions of Albuquerque, like the yearly International Balloon Fiesta and looked upon the Sandia Mountains with aweâ€"she loved the traditions of the southwest and loved New Mexico. She also had a deep wonderment of science, learning of history, and loved the arts. She was a deeply devoted Catholic and found strength in the Church.
M. Carmen Melendez was devoted to her children. She is survived by her three children - James Melendez, Michaeline Melendez and Joel Melendez. She is preceded in death by Camille Melendez.
