Matteo Buscema Obituary

Matteo (Matt) Buscema

Matteo was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on May 7, 1941, and passed away on October 2, 2024. He and his wife, Frances, were married 62 years, and were blessed with two children, Lisa Ann Womack and Vincent Matthew Buscema: six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Matt was fifth generation custom furniture designer and builder having learned from his father who studied in Italy and taught Matt to be a master craftsman.

He was a wonderful and caring husband and father, loved by so many and always available to help anyone in need, and even strangers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m., at the FRENCH - Westside Chapel.

The Mass will be on held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.
