Grandpa you are truly one of a kind. Every time I think of you, I always see you smiling, laughing, whistling, singing or telling me jokes. I don't think I ever seen you upset or angry, except when I picked all the pumpkins from the field. Even then you were understanding and taught me when and how to pick the pumpkins. You taught me so many things in life, especially about family, hard work and faith. You told me to always take care of my family, to be there for one another and not just when in need. You lead by example, raising a wonderful family and showing us a family that prays together stays together. My Grandpa was such a hard worker all his life. I remember going to help him cut wood for the winter and asking myself how does my Grandpa do this every year. His hard work was the epitome of what a good father, husband and man should be. You were truly a man of faith. With everything you been through in life, whether it was getting married and staring a family with very little, to building your own house, or going through your heart surgeries, you have always been very positive, happy and you never complained. I will always remember you coming to me and Marcella's wedding, as sick as you were, you made sure that you came to church to show your support and love. Only a man with a strong belief in our Lord can live such a simple and humbling life. Even in your last days you told me that you were at peace. Only a man with such amazing character would shine so bright, in times that can be dark for others. I can only hope that my faith continues to grow as strong as yours so I can live more Christ like as you did. I guess that's why God called you on All Saints day because he knew you were a reflection of what it means to be one with God.
So thank you Grandpa for everything you have done to help me become a better man. I will miss and never forget going to Arby's with you, picking pinon with you, going to rodeos with you and I will definitely miss our walks we had together.
I Love You Grandpa!
Jacob

You couldn't ask for a better Grandpa. My grandpa always took care of my brothers and I. He would spoil each of us all the time in his own way. When I think of my Grandpa I think of happiness. I never once saw my Grandpa angry or mad I never heard him raise his voice. He was the kindest man you would ever meet in your life. My Grandpa taught me how to dress for the mountains, pick pinon, make toast :@) and to be of person with intergity and values. He taught me the value of being a hard working, honest person. I will miss him greatly. To his singing, jokes, whistling and just seeing him smile. I love your Grandpa and I know you will always be with me.

Love April
