Let us take a moment to tell you a bit about this beautiful, wonderful, and thoughtful person â€" Patsy Sanchez. It was the simple things around her in life that she never took for granted, commenting daily how fortunate she was. Above all, Patsy was absolutely devoted to Mel, Henry, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always involved in every detail of her family's lives, supported, respected and loved her family and extended family, friends unconditionally. She enjoyed walking, gardening, cooking, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grand-children.
To express a little of whom she is - years ago Patsy and Mel discussed at the kitchen table the difference between empowerment (Mel) and enablement (Patsy). She represented the position of enabling others - providing people the tools. Patsy felt every living thing on earth had value and it is on all of us to enable this value to come to the surface by providing them the tools and support to surface this value. Patsy enjoyed life and loved her family deeply - helping, supporting, enabling all of us in every stage in life. Though we are all very sad she has gone in peace - she was loved deeply and passed the complete package that she aimed to be. Some of her last words were "Be fair, make peace, and love." Her legacy will live through all of us and now it is our turn to walk the talk.
