Paula Dianne DiLallo



Paula Dianne DiLallo, 74, beloved mother and daughter, was called to her eternal resting place on the morning of Monday, August 28, 2023. She was at her home in

Tijeras, New Mexico and passed away peacefully.

Dianne entered this world on June 1, 1949, in La Junta, Colorado, born to Paul and Betty Griggs. She is survived by her son Kurt Foster; boyfriend Thomas Keehbauch; sister Sylvia Kazan; brother Danny Griggs; nieces Melanie Clague, Jennifer El Rai, and Heather Lockwood; and nephews Peter Kazan, Aaron Griggs, Adam Griggs, and Allen Patton. She is also survived by her aunt Jewel Stone, aunt Chris Eddy, and Eric Foster.

Dianne is preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Romeo DiLallo; and brother James Dwight Griggs.

Dianne went to high school in Buena Vista, Colorado. She was involved with the high school pep rally, and she worked at K's Dairy Delite to save money for college.

Dianne graduated from Southern Colorado State College in Pueblo, Colorado with an associate degree. She worked at Taffy's ice cream shop during college.

Two years after the birth of her son Kurt in 1972, Dianne and her husband Robert P. Foster moved from Colorado to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was an integral part of building a successful State Farm Insurance Agency in Cedar Crest and Tijeras, New Mexico between 1978 and 2000.

Dianne married Romeo DiLallo in 1994 and became co-owner and manager of Molly's Bar in Tijeras, New Mexico. She was instrumental in the success and growth of Molly's for 29 years. She developed the slogan "Molly's - First and Always the Best." She enjoyed meeting, helping, and providing support and encouragement to many. Dianne touched the lives of those she met while working at Molly's. She loved and appreciated the customers and employees at Molly's.

Dianne faced the health challenges that arose during the last year of her life with courage and bravery.

Dianne enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and bushes, playing the piano, decorating, shopping, traveling, music, movies, quilting and other crafts, mentoring, and boating. She loved listening to the countless talented musicians and bands that played at Molly's. She also loved flowers, sunrises, and sunsets.

Dianne loved her dogs and cats, and she will be missed by Piccolo, Cortez, Keely, Miss Kitty, and Knucks.

Pallbearers: Thomas Keehbauch, Leo Pederdon, Andy Olavecz, Jeffro Garcia, Craig Anderson, Cowboy Scott Connors.

Honorary Pallbearers: Noah Gonzales, Steve Kinabrew, Charlie Pedroncelli, Ben Rael, Tim Rooney.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on September 10, 2023, followed by a visitation until 5:00 pm at FRENCH-Wyoming.

The rosary will be held at 9:00 am followed by the

funeral at 10:00 am on September 11, 2023, at Holy Child Parish, 19 Camino del Santo Nino, Tijeras, NM 87059.

The burial will be held on September 11, 2023, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE,

Dianne was a sweet humble lady. Romeo was sooo smitten with her. The East Moutain community isn't the same without them.
