Perciliana C'de Baca Obituary
Perciliana C'de Baca, 91, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Catherine "Cathy" C'de Baca and her partner, John Rose, Mary "Mag" Forrest and husband, David, Roberta "Bobbie" C'de Baca, Manuel "Manny" C'de Baca and wife, Shirley; her grandchildren, Brynn Sartain-Baca, Shawnda Sartain, Cristen Copeland, Cara Forrest and Jaimie Krzynski. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Deja Sartain, Chance, Collin, and Caylee Copeland; her sister, Bertille L. Baca; and many other family and friends.
Perci was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel and her parents, Abran and Lucia and her brothers and sisters.
Perciliana was born in Pena Blanca, met Manuel in Santa Fe and married in 1947 at the Cathedral of St. Francis and they were married for 53 years. She was a very faithful member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church since 1950 and was an active member of the Legion of Mary which was her passion and ministry. She also continued to be a part of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca her entire life.
Her family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the Legion of Mary at Our Lady of the Assumption Church for their unending spiritual support and friendship. A special word of gratitude to Father Michelangelo Cimino for his commitment and love to the Legion of Mary and his faithful support to the entire family.
Friends may pay respects from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to a Rosary which will be recited Monday, April 25, 2016, 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee. Celebration of Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Her final resting place will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Pena Blanca next to her beloved husband Manuel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Legion of Mary, in Perci's honor, c/o Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 815 Guaymas Pl NE, 87108. Please visit our online guest book for Perciliana at

We are saddened by the loss in your family with your Mother's passing. She will be remembered by us and all who knew her for her love, kindness and generosity for all. I will personally miss that first Christmas card I recieved every year as an anouncement that " The Christmas season has arrived". It always arrived on time and put me in the Christmas spirit. She has left us with such a feeling of family togetheness and belonging unity and fond memories of the times we shared.
