Rebecca Sanchez Obituary
Rebecca Renee Sanchez, born to Geraldine and Wilfred Sanchez, Jr. on April 26, 1982 became one of God's heavenly angels on December 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by: her grandfather, Wilfred Sanchez, Sr.; grandmother, Umelia Lucero; and cousin, Anthony Sanchez. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind: her grandmother, Herminia Sanchez; mother, Geraldine; father, Wilfred Jr.; brother, Gabriel Sanchez and wife, Anna; sisters Valerie Sanchez and Jennifer Sanchez. She was a devoted aunt to her nieces, Gabriella Sanchez and Azalia Sanchez. Becky loved working with children and spending time with her younger cousins and nieces. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, December 21st at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Rio Rancho. A reception will follow the mass. I love you my dear older sister! I wish I could pick up the phone and call you to say Aza and I will be heading over. But I know your at peace and now I have a gaurdian angel.... Dear Sanchez family, I want to express condolences to you and the family of Rebecca, not because I knew her, but because growing up in the Cochiti, Sile, Pena Blanca area, we all knew each other attending school in Pena Blanca. To the mom Geraldine, I have known you and your family for a very long time, and I know you will miss your daughter, but know she is in the hands of the Lord, and you will meet again. May the Angels receive her, and present her to God most High. Amen.
