Roger Cordova



Roger Cordova, 62, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on September 2, 2022. Born in Albuquerque N.M, Roger received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1987 from UNM and two Associates degrees in Radiology and Data Processing in the mid 80's.

He was a hard worker all of his life. He excelled by working for large companies in Business Sales for a good portion of his life, but wasn't afraid to venture off and try new things. He always talked about how in his early 20's, he was eager to open up a new restaurant, work at the hospital, be featured on a television commercial, or play his favorite instrument the saxophone while multitasking and singing in a band. Roger lived life to the fullest! He loved to cook, spend time with family and go camping, fishing and traveling. He always taught his two daughters the value of hard work, and the importance of being good to others. He shared his strong business sense by helping many people over the years. A very private person, Roger enjoyed peaceful sur-roundings and also a stress-free life. Roger is preceded in death by his mother Eugenia "Tita" and father Reynaldo Cordova. He was survived by his wife Amy Maldonado (1 year), daughter Erica Montano and husband Matthew; daughter Tanya Cordova and Grandson Dominic; stepdaughters; Joelynn and Monique Maldonado. He is also survived by his mother Maryann Cordova, brother Phillip Cordova and fiancee Andrea, sister Roberta Cordova- Diba and husband Bertin, sister Lydia Griego and husband Steve, sister Carolyn Baca and husband Fernando,

sister Bernadette Cordova and husband Jimmy, sister Jennifer Tafoya and husband Cory as well as many nephews, nieces and step grandchildren. He was respected and loved by his family and will be missed very much.

Visitation will be held at 8:30 a.m on Thursday September 15, 2022 at St. Anne Catholic Church 1400 Arenal Rd. SW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.
