With sadness in our hearts, we announce that Seth Neal Pearson, 25, was found deceased June 26, 2023, in his apartment in Reno, NV, due to alcohol related GI hemorrhage. We find solice in the fact that he is now at peace and surrounded by light with his family who went before him - Newman Grandparents Terry & Sharon, Auntie Rachel, and beloved dogs Boomer, Nubs, Foxy, and Mr. Beefy.

Seth suffered from the 3 brain bleeds and TBI much more deeply than we could have ever known after a very close call with death when a yellow Mustang hit him on his skateboard September 17, 2014. His body eventually healed physically but there were more scars mentally than we understood. His resilience, emotional stability, and impulse control became markedly altered. His efforts to escape the physical and mental pain and turmoil resulted in an addiction to alcohol where he sought to drown the pain, depression, hopelessness, and anger that he felt. He didn't see the light within him that we, as his family and friends, could clearly see.

Seth was born August 13, 1997, and developed into a generous and protective soul early on. He was fierce and he was honest, but could always quickly and easily make everyone laugh. He was a standout athlete in his youth and talented self taught musician who shared his love of music with anyone who would listen. Quoting J.R.R. Tolkien, playing Playstation, and cooking for others were his favorite ways to pass the time. Animals loved him - they would come to him and always want to lay near him over anyone else in the room. His smile could brighten the darkest of hearts. In his 25 years on Earth, Seth made a lasting impression on every person he met.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Newman (and stepmother Nancy); father, Michael "Jori" Pearson; and younger brother, Wesley Pearson. He is missed by his uncle, aunts, cousins, grandparents, and many loving friends. We will cherish all the magical memories of Seth.
