I had no idea. I was inclined to reach out to Shawn recently and found it strange his cell and email were no longer in service. My condolences to Raymond, Marie and Sydney. This brings me great sadness because Shawn and I lost touch. Shawn and I worked together. He got me through some tough times when I was going through my divorce and was a great listener. He will be missed.

Shawn was a wonderful person and work peer while at Bendix King by Honeywell. He often made rounds to say hello to everyone. He and several others from work would get together to cycle down the Rio Grande, starting at Alameda Blvd to Old Town Albuquerque to enjoy visiting at the Church Cafe. I was the only one that had a kid in the group. Her seat was attached to the back of my bicycle. Every time we stopped, he stopped to enjoy throwing rocks, playing with sticks, petting a horse, etc. with my daughter. She was only 4 and to this day has memories of a friend playing with her alongside the river. Shawn loved life, friends, and family. We were going to visit in a few weeks. My husband and three kids. It would be the first time he would have met our youngest. He is a blessing that will continuously be missed here on this earth.
