Steven Glowacki Obituary
Steven passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2023 at the age of 43. He is survived by his parents, Leonard and Helen Glowacki, and brother Richard Glowacki. He is also survived by his sister, Angela Simmons, and her husband Joel Simmons, and his nieces, Gabrielle Sophia Torres and Elyse Siobhan Torres. He touched many lives with his kind and generous heart. He is very loved and will be deeply missed. His memorial services are being held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124 with Rosary at 1pm, Mass at 1:30pm and repast following the mass. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers or gifts please consider making a donation in his name to Argos, A Shelter Dog Rescue.

I grew up with Steve at Puesta Del Sol Elementary school, I have wonderful memories of him when we were kids. My deepest sympathies go out to Steve's family and friends during this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Helen, I am so very sorry for the loss of Steven. My heart aches for you. The loss of a child is the hardest and wish you didn't have to go through it. Steve and I attended Puesta Del Sol together many many years ago. I have many fond memories of Steven, and our friendship. Steve you were a good friend and I am sad to hear of your untimely passing. I wish you and your family find peace during this difficult time, you made an impact on many lives to include mine. I wish I could have told you in person. You will be missed. Jimmy DeFillippo.

Helen, my heart aches for you and your family. I know from Eileen what a special person Steven was. As believers, we know he is in a better place and is in the hands of God. Even so, that doesn't lesson the pain and loss. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Just know that you raised an amazing young man and he will always be alive in your hearts. The Marsh family knew Steven, Lenny and Helen through soccer. Brad coached when the boys were 5 and 6. We all enjoyed our practices and games as we watched these little boys run in a pack with their green shirts and black shorts. Steven was always happy and added so much fun to the team. Later Lenny was our `bug´ man and Helen, a teacher at Puesta Del Sol. Of course the boys grew up and our families grew apart. We are very sorry for the loss of Steven and wish God´s strength and peace to Lenny, Helen, Richard and Angela. Resting in paradise until we meet again.

Thirty-some years ago, Steven was one of the boys on the Rio Rancho Rangers soccer team that I coached. He was a good kid, a good player, and his mom and dad were loyal supporters and fans of all of the boys on the team. Steven, may you rest in peace. Condolences to the family.

I am a neighbor and I just found out about his passing. I didn´t know him but it broke my heart, I used to see him walking his dog everyday at the same time, he always smiled and said hi to me. He will be missed. Even though I didn´t get the chance to know him personally, his passing made me very sad and I am praying for his family and cute husky dog and pray that he is with our Heavenly Father. God bless you all. Again I´m so sorry for your loss.
