Susan Walter Obituary
Susan J. Walter, age 67, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She is survived by her beloved dog Tai; long-term partner, Ben Armentrout; daughter, Desiree Davis; sister, Julie Walter; and nephew, Paul McLeod (Julie). Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Richard Walter of New York. She also leaves behind thousands of students that she taught in bilingual education for Albuquerque Public Schools during her 30 years there.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Potluck Reception will follow from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Animal Humane New Mexico (animalhumanenm.org).
