Theresa Lucero Obituary
Theresa Lucero, 64, born February 28, 1951 in Bernalillo, NM went to be with our Lord on April 23, 2015. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend who truly touched the lives of many will forever be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Lucero; parents, Flavio and Frances Nieto, Johnny and Eloisa Archibeque; brothers: Pete Aragon, Patricio Sanchez, Gilbert Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez.
She is survived by her children: son, Matthew Lucero and wife Angela; daughter, Olivia Lucero; son, Timothy Lucero and wife Jennifer; grandchildren: David Chavez, Jonathan Lucero, Gabriel Archuleta, Lucas Archuleta, Brandon Lucero, and Aiden Lucero; sisters: Melba Griego, Sandra Gutierrez and husband Roger; brothers: Johnny Archibeque Jr. and wife Esther; Frank Archibeque; Jimmy Sanchez.
Theresa was very kind, loving, gentle-hearted, strong and brave. Devoted to her faith, Theresa was very active in her church and touched the lives of many throughout the community. Her strength and courage led a great example to family and friends. Theresa will be greatly missed.
Rosary will be recited Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery, Hwy 550 and I-25, Bernalillo, NM. Reception to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Social Center. Pallbearers: Jonathan Lucero, Gabriel Archuleta, Rich Torres, Zenon Cruz, Porfirio Gutierrez Jr. and Joseph Chavez Jr.

My sincerest condolences going out to the family. Theresa was a beautiful person that I loved and respected. I loved working with her. I will always remember the fun we had when Theresa, my mom and I used to go swimming at Defined Fitness. I don't think I've ever laughed as much as we did then. She will never be forgotten. God Bless you my friend!

We were very sorry to hear of the loss, We will be forever be grateful to Theresa, she was so special to my children at Esqulita Preschool, she always made us feel welcomed and was always there when the kids were not having a good day, by comforting them. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

Mom, its been a year of struggle with doctors and hospitals. thru it all you amazed me with your strength and courage to fight to the end. Mostly mom what i admired is your faith in God and how strong you have been. I'm so grateful i was able to take this journey with you and be by your side thru it all everyday, the Bond we created is like no other. There are no words to express how much i miss you, not seeing you every day will be the hardest thing I'll have to do but now i know your not suffering and you are with me every where i walk. I'll see you on the other side, love always your Matthew.
