With broken hearts and immeasurable grief, we, his children, Karlo, Joshua, and Ashlynne, announce the passing of our beloved father, Timothy (Tim) Michael Padilla, on November 28, 2025. After a courageous four-year battle with cancer, he passed peacefully at our mother's home, surrounded by family.

Born in 1944 to Daniel and Juanita Padilla, Tim was preceded in death by his sisters, Diana and Judy; his brother, David, and David's wife, Joy. He is survived by his brother, Daniel; by Jeannie Serrano-Padilla, the mother of his children and his devoted caretaker; his children Karlo (Pam), Ashlynne, and Joshua (Jade); his grandchildren Kasey Serrano (Esteban Garcia) and Karlee Serrano Santibanez (Justin Santibanez); and a large extended family and many dear friends. His loyal dog, Blue, remained faithfully by his side.

Tim attended St. Mary's Grade School and St. Pius X High School before enlisting in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, a service of which he was immensely proud. He later earned his Law Degree from UNM at the infamous 1412 Lomas, where he built treasured lifelong friendships.

For 49 years, Tim served as an esteemed attorney in civil and criminal law. Brilliant, compassionate, and fiercely dedicated, he defended his clients with integrity and was honored among America's Top 100 Defense Attorneys.

Tim lived life fully, traveling, flying planes, race-car driving, boating, and cheering on the Rolling Stones at countless concerts. His adventures and joy-filled spirit will be forever remembered.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to his exceptional caregivers: Aaron, Annette, Nurse Sheri, Cristi, Monica, and Julianna.

Services:

Visitation: Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.

Rosary: 9:30 a.m.

Mass: 10:30 a.m.

All at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Albuquerque.

Burial: Monday, December 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., Santa Fe National Cemetery.
