I met Valerie at the Living Beyond Breast Cancer conference for those with metastatic disease in April 2017 and enjoyed exploring Philadelphia with her. I then followed her beekeeping and art adventures on Instagram. Such an eye for interesting detail and unusual elements for collage! My heart goes out to family and friends at this time of loss.
