Vivian Roakes Obituary
Vivian Elaine Roakes went to be with her Lord on November 1, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM. Elaine was born April 03, 1945 in Honey Grove, TX to Edker and Martha (Warren) Anderson.
Elaine grew up in Raton, NM and graduated from Raton High School in 1963. After moving to Albuquerque 35 years ago, Elaine became an apartment complex manager â€" she thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all of her residents.
Elaine had a personality that would light up a room. She will be truly missed by all who knew her- especially by her daughter, Cherie, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Together, they made a lifetime of fantastic memories Cherie is now left to treasure.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Cherie Elizabeth Chicarelli of Raton, NM, as well as numerous cousins in New Mexico and Texas.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Edker (Eddie) Anderson and Woodrow (Woody) Anderson and husband Robert W. Roakes.
Services and inurnment will be held in Raton, NM but are pending at this time.
