William Lord Obituary
William "Bill" Lord passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at age 99. A Navy veteran, he enlisted at 17 and served in the Pacific during World War II and again in the Korean War.
A UNM business graduate and lifelong Lobo supporter, Bill was married to Marion Hurley Lord for 55 years and was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He built a family life centered on faith, hard work, and tradition, with many cherished memories made at the family cabin in Colorado.
He is survived by his three sons and his extended family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please visit our online guest book at

I and many others here at our Woodmark AL will miss Bill for his friendliness greetings. I feel " a dear soldier has gone home"! I will miss Bill's wave and wink in our dining room.
